The 'good day' mojo continues.....

in a bunch of little ways. In addition to my fab-u-lcious couple hours I spent earlier in the day on the phone (see previous post), I had an awesome day because of a series of little things......

~ I went to the ever-famous Walmart & got a awesome find for just $2.88... everyday the scrappers at Two Peas discuss new products, up coming sales & the always popular question..."what is the best
adhesive?" No some of you may wonder why this is so important, but if you are a scrapbooker, you know why this is such a big deal. It is the life-blood of your album...the glue that holds it all together...get it??? LOL Yes...a pun was intended!!! :) Don't hate me cuz I'm funny. ;) Anyway, at 2 Peas the Duck gets great reviews. I am so used to not be able to get the 'cool stuff' here in AK, but Wally World had the goods. And for just $2.88...what a way to make a girl happy!

Then we were off to JoAnn's to find fabric for a giant Anaconda (that my mama is gonna sew for me) for the upcoming South America project. I found some sueded snake print material for a mere $12.99/yd.......ah, I think not! So we meandered back to the clearance section to see if there was something back there that would do in a pinch. Score......I found a polyester snake skin fabric for $4.00/yd. That was do-able. Then when I got my ticket at the cutting counter, it was marked down even more ...to just $1.60/yd!! Wahoo...the savings paid for my previously purchased Duck adhesive. It was like getting it for free! Cha-ching!

Then my super sweet mom came by & picked up the kiddos for a sleepover. The house is ALL mine! Heehee! I got to watch Desperate Housewives & Grey's Anatomy in peace. That is like pure heaven. The only thing that would have made it better was a piece of Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake...my greatest all time weakness. Now I just have one question.....when is Derek gonna boot that old bat Addison to the curb & go running back to Meredith. DUH! It is so obvious! It makes me crazy!!!! Maybe I should give Dr. McDreamy a call......

And now I will bid you farewell for the night while I go curl up on the sofa (alone) & work on a Top Secret Scrapbook project (I'm gonna leave you hangin' on this one) & watch grown up movies. Yep, I rented movies for just me.......aren't you jealous??? Gotta go....The Wedding Crashers & my diet Coke are waiting.......

Ok, midnight and the grandkids are tucked snuggling in bed snoozing. Yes, I sprayed an extra shot of "blah spray" for R. He said he couldn't smell it good. And yes, I braided D's hair before she fell asleep. Oh, and yes, the snake is finished. I have to admit, it wasn't hard but it was probably the most unusual things I've ever sewn. Especially since I detest snakes! Now I'm going to curl up with R just in case...don't want him waking up in the middle of the night scared. Lord, it is so great being a Grandma. I've all the things I've done in my life being "G-ma" is the best...next to having Stacy, of course. I mean without her I wouldn't be G-ma! How did I ever get so lucky? Love you so much. Enjoy your night of grown up movies and peace and quiet!

Yeah!!! Great deals at Wally-World...that's awesome. Now, I way curious as to what the top-secret scrap-booking project is. Is it what we talked about earlier? D.H. and Grey's Anatomy were awesome! Derek needs to get his s*** together. And do you not just absolutely love George? He makes the show for me. And Mr. "I need a heart transplant"...hello!!! lol. What did you think of Wedding Crashers? I so wish we could have seen that one together LOL. Ok...gotta get to work. Lata alligata

Great deals! Another family tradition. I love Dairy Queen cakes - had one for my birthday. Grey's Anatomy is fast becoming one of my absolute favorite shows! Derek had better get rid of his wife soon or.........yeah like I can do anything about it. She is definitely a witch and needs to go! Sunday nights are also one of my favorite nights. Fem & I watch Home Makeover, Desperate & Grey's together. That's like our time & I love it (and the fact that she wants to watch with me). Your uncle comes & checks to make sure that we are okay & that our brains haven't rotted since we are watching smut TV. Anyway, glad you got to have quiet time. I love quiet time! Love you!

Are you a McDreamy fan? He makes me gag, I love Dr Yang and Burke... I think they are much funnier and "real". Maybe I just have too many crazies in my life and they start to seem normal! Congrats on your great day!

I love that new tape runner. I cannot stand when someone talks about a great product and then our prototype Wal-Mart will not carry it because it is such a smaller store. I will have to look for this little treat..

thanks for sharing I missed the two peas thread
